Creating Invoices
What types of invoices can I create?
You can create standard invoices, quotes/estimates, and fuel invoices. We offer 5 professional templates: Modern, Classic, Minimalist, Professional, and Creative.
How do I add my company logo?
Click the "Add Logo" button in the invoice form, then select your logo image file (JPG, PNG, or SVG). The logo will appear on both the preview and downloaded PDF.
Can I add multiple items to an invoice?
Yes! Click the "Add Item" button to add as many line items as needed. Each item can have a description, quantity, and rate.
How do I add taxes to my invoice?
Enable the "Add Tax" toggle and enter your tax percentage. The tax will be automatically calculated and added to your total. You can customize the tax label (e.g., GST, VAT, Sales Tax).
Can I add discounts?
Yes! Enable the "Add Discount" toggle and enter either a percentage or fixed amount. The discount will be automatically calculated and applied to your subtotal.
How do I add shipping charges?
Enable the "Add Shipping" toggle and enter the shipping amount. It will be added to your invoice total.
Templates & Customization
What templates are available?
We offer 5 professional templates: Modern (blue), Classic (gray), Minimalist (black & white), Professional (slate), and Creative (purple). Each template has unique styling and color schemes.
Can I customize the invoice colors?
Each template comes with its own color scheme. You can switch between templates to find the style that best matches your brand identity.
Will the PDF match my selected template?
Yes! The downloaded PDF will exactly match the template you selected, including all colors, fonts, and styling.
Can I change the currency?
Yes! We support 90+ currencies from around the world. Use the searchable currency dropdown to find and select your preferred currency.
Downloading & Saving
How do I download my invoice?
Click the "Download PDF" button at the bottom of the form. Your invoice will be generated and downloaded as a professional PDF file instantly.
What format is the downloaded invoice?
Invoices are downloaded as PDF files, which are universally compatible and professional. PDFs maintain consistent formatting across all devices.
Are my invoices saved automatically?
Yes! Your invoice data is automatically saved in your browser as you type. If you close the page and return later, your data will still be there.
How do I clear my saved data?
Click the "Reset Form" button to clear all data and start fresh. You'll be asked to confirm before the data is deleted.
Can I edit an invoice after downloading?
The PDF itself cannot be edited, but as long as your browser data isn't cleared, you can modify the form and download a new PDF with the updated information.
Payment & Invoice Details
How do I add payment terms?
Use the "Payment Terms" field to specify your payment conditions (e.g., "Net 30", "Due on Receipt", "Payment due within 15 days"). Enable the toggle to include this in your invoice.
Can I add a PO number?
Yes! Enable the "PO Number" toggle and enter the purchase order number provided by your client.
How do I add payment details (bank account, PayPal)?
Enable the "Payment Details" toggle and enter your bank account information, PayPal email, or other payment instructions. This will appear on the invoice for your client.
Can I add additional notes or terms & conditions?
Yes! Use the "Notes" field for any additional information, and the "Terms & Conditions" field for your business terms. Both are optional but recommended.
What should I include in the invoice number?
Invoice numbers should be unique for each invoice. Common formats include: INV-001, 2025-001, or your custom numbering system. Sequential numbering helps with record-keeping.

What browsers are supported?
Our invoice generator works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera. We recommend using the latest version for the best experience.
Can I use this on mobile devices?
Yes! Our invoice generator is fully responsive and works great on smartphones and tablets. However, for the best experience creating detailed invoices, we recommend using a desktop or laptop.
Why does my data disappear sometimes?
Invoice data is stored in your browser's localStorage. If you clear your browser data, use incognito/private mode, or use a different browser/device, your saved data won't be available. Always download your invoices as PDFs for permanent records.
What image formats are supported for logos?
You can upload JPG, PNG, and SVG image formats for your company logo. We recommend using PNG with a transparent background for the best results.
Is there a file size limit for logos?
While there's no strict limit, we recommend keeping logo files under 2MB for optimal performance. Smaller files load faster and work better across all devices.

Are these invoices legally valid?
Yes! Our invoices contain all the necessary information required for a legally valid invoice. However, specific requirements may vary by country or region, so verify local regulations.
Can I use these invoices for taxes?
Yes, these invoices can be used for tax purposes. They include all standard elements like invoice numbers, dates, itemized lists, and totals. Keep copies of all sent invoices for your records.
What information is required for a valid invoice?
At minimum, an invoice should include: your business details, client details, invoice number, date, itemized list of products/services, quantities, rates, and total amount due.

Troubleshooting
The PDF download isn't working. What should I do?
Try these steps: 1) Check if your browser is blocking pop-ups or downloads, 2) Make sure you've filled in required fields, 3) Try a different browser, 4) Clear your browser cache and try again.
My logo doesn't appear in the PDF. Why?
Ensure your logo file is in a supported format (JPG, PNG, SVG) and isn't too large. Try re-uploading the logo or using a different image file.
The calculations seem incorrect. What's wrong?
Our system automatically calculates all totals, taxes, and discounts. If you notice an issue, try refreshing the page and re-entering your data. Make sure numbers are entered without currency symbols or commas.
I can't see the preview of my invoice.
The preview appears on the right side (or below on mobile) as you fill in the form. Make sure you've entered at least some basic information. Try refreshing the page if the preview doesn't appear.
